It’s A Wonderful Life! It really is, and I hope you believe that, too. Yes, of course I’m referring to the Frank Capra film, my favorite, but this is also a little reminder to you all that life really can be and is wonderful. Sometimes it feels like we have to look a little harder, search and dig a little deeper, but at the end of the day (and especially at the end of the year), life is wonderful.
It becomes a choice, really; whether or not life is wonderful. While we all have different experiences and stories of our own, and regardless of the different paths we’re on, life tends to bring people to us that offer this reminder. Mary Hatch is that person for George Bailey.
I go a little deeper into my thoughts below, but I just wanted to tell you all how much I am grateful for you following my Substack this year. It’s been a fun ride, and I have every intention to continue it in full force in 2025. This will be my final scene breakdown of 2024, and of course I had to present to you my favorite scene from It’s A Wonderful Life.
